Grade 8 Application Process
Online Applications: What to do
- Send an email from your personal email account to applications@patrioths.co.za. Ensure your email clearly states you are applying for Grade 8 2027 at Hoërskool Patriot.
- Please keep in mind that you will need to upload documents during this process.
- A link will be sent to you via a reply email. It may take up to 24 hours to arrive. Please check your SPAM folder if you have not received it within 24 hours.
- Click on the link in the reply email and follow the procedure on your laptop / computer / cell phone.
- You will receive a second link via email once step 3 is complete. This is your child’s unique application link. From this point onward, use only this link. It may take up to 24 hours to receive this second link.
- Complete the process as indicated on screen. If you stopped the process or cannot complete it immediately, simply click the (second) link again at any convenient time.
- You will receive an acknowledgement email once your application has been submitted. Please note: once submitted, no changes can be made.

› 1 x Uncertified copy - Parents’ ID documents
› 1 x Certified copy per parent
› 1 x Uncertified copy per parent - Proof of residence (not older than 3 months)
› Name on proof of residence must match the ID document - Learner Term 1 & 2 report
› Term 1 report must be submitted with the application
› Submit Term 2 report as soon as it is received from the school

Aanlyn: Wat om te doen
- Stuur ‘n e-pos vanaf jou persoonlike e-pos na applications@patrioths.co.za. Maak seker dat u e-pos duidelik stel dat u aansoek doen vir Graad 8 2027 by Hoërskool Patriot.
- Hou asseblief in gedagte dat u tydens hierdie proses dokumente moet kan oplaai.
- ‘n Skakel sal via ‘n antwoord-e-pos gestuur word. Dit kan tot 24 uur neem. Kyk in u SPAM-pos as u dit nie binne 24 uur ontvang het nie.
- Klik op die skakel in die antwoord-e-pos en volg die prosedure op u skootrekenaar / rekenaar / selfoon.
- U sal ‘n tweede skakel per e-pos ontvang sodra stap 3 voltooi is. Dit is u kind se unieke aansoekskakel. Gebruik vanaf hierdie punt slegs hierdie skakel.
- Voltooi die proses soos aangedui op die skerm. As u dit nie dadelik kan voltooi nie, klik weer op die (tweede) skakel op enige gerieflike tyd.
- U sal ‘n erkenning-e-pos ontvang sodra u aansoek ingedien is. Neem kennis: sodra ingedien, kan geen veranderinge gemaak word nie.
Let wel: Geen skakel sal gedeel word behalwe vanaf die amptelike e-posadres nie.
Neem asseblief kennis dat alle dokumente ingeskandeer moet word:

- Geboortesertifikaat van leerder
› 1 x Gesertifiseerde afskrif
› 1 x Ongesertifiseerde afskrif - Ouers se ID-dokumente
› 1 x Gesertifiseerde afskrif per ouer
› 1 x Ongesertifiseerde afskrif per ouer - Bewys van verblyf (nie ouer as 3 maande nie)
› Naam op bewys van verblyf moet ooreenstem met ID-dokument - Leerder Kwartaal 1 & 2 rapport
› Kwartaal 1 rapport moet saam met die aansoek ingedien word
› Dien Kwartaal 2 rapport in sodra dit van die skool ontvang is
